A Life That's Good

Life has been less then ideal lately in my mind.
But….that's the catch, in my mind!
We are responsible for our own thoughts and crafting our own moods and responses to others.

Every Wednesday night you can catch me in my bed watching Rayna and Deacon in the best show on TV right now, Nashville.
They make my heart pitter patter!
One little song last week that Lennon and Maisy sang had me in tears.
The lyrics along with their magical voices have gotten me through several rough days lately.

Really, at the end of the day, we all just want
a life that's good.
And, by the grace of God, he has blessed me with
a life that's good.
A good husband, good parents, good in-laws and good friends.

A Life That's Good

Sitting here tonight, by the fire light
It reminds me I already have more than I should.
I don't need fame, no one to know my name.
At the end of the day, Lord I pray
I have a life that's good.

Two arms around me
Heaven to ground me
and a family that always calls me home.
Four wheels to get there.
Enough love to share and a
sweet, sweet, sweet song.
At the end of the day, Lord I pray
I have a life that's good.

Sometimes I'm hard on me,
when dreams don't come easy
I wanna look back and say I did all that I could.

At the end of the day, Lord I pray
I have a life that's good.
